Empire Attrition
Empire Attrition is a strategic conquest game where every decision shapes the rise or fall of your empire. Claim your color and start invading enemy lands in dice-based battles. Every round forces you to balance aggression and stability: conflict fuels your opportunities to strike, while calm regions generate reinforcements to strengthen your defenses. Expand your borders and surround your enemies, but beware — a fragmented empire receives fewer reinforcements. Would you commence relentless warfare to crush rival empires? Or would you opt for stability to pave your way for the perfect strike? What does an empire truly need? That is for you to decide.
How to play:
- Click on your region and select a neighbour region to try to invade it.
- You can't start attacks from regions with only one point.
- The more points a region possesses, the more dice are rolled to contribute to the region's total in a battle.
- The number of invasion attempts is limited during the turn.
- Pass the turn to the next player by clicking the "End Turn" button whenever you are ready.
- All empires receive reinforcements at the beginning of a new round.
Computer players:
- don't receive bonuses in dice-based combat,
- don't have advantages of any kind during reinforcement calculation and distribution,
- don't cooperate to conquer the human player,
- treat the human player in the same way as other computer players.
